The weather was gorgeous and we had an amazing day viewing humpbacks in the Juan de Fuca Strait! They are busy feeding and putting on weight for their big migration South in the fall. We even viewed a mother humpback teaching her calf how to feed. Later we had some beautiful encounters with a family of Transient orcas. We were lucky to spot Waldo the sea otter relaxing in a kelp bed. It's a very exciting time of year for whale watching.
