Calm weather made for idyllic conditions out on the Salish Sea today. Despite their intimidating size, the pair of 60-foot humpbacks that came and visited with our guests were very friendly and made for lots of smiling faces out on the water. We took a little detour around Spieden Island to visit our favourite exotic friends, the fallow deer and mouflon sheep, and ended up coming face to face with a huge Stellar Sea Lion enjoying an afternoon snack of Spiny Dogfish; talk about a messy eater! All in all, it was another successful day out on the Pacific.
