After an amazing whale-watching tour, why not experience the vistas & views from above?
The Gowlland Tod hike is for those that want it all and is perfect for a couple or the family.
Depending on the weather, you will experience the stunning vistas of Finlayson Arm, a true Canadian fjord, small mountains in the Gowlland Range, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains in Washington State.
Transport from your hotel is included, and the trail head is only 30 minutes from downtown. We’ve had four-year-olds and 78-year-olds do the hike – it’s moderate in difficulty with lots of breaks along the way. Our photographer will take shots of you as we go and one photo is included in the tour price (emailed) – photo packages are available.
3-hour sunset or 3.5–4 hour daytime whale watching adventure on the Salish Sea aboard the most exciting boats in Victoria captained and crewed by the best in the industry. Daily at 9 am, 10 am, 1:30 pm and 3 pm. Sunset tours 6 pm May 16–Aug 15 INCLUDING
a 4.5-hour hiking tour (distance 6.5 km / 3.8 miles round trip), moderate in difficulty with lots of breaks along the way. Pick up is either 9 a.m. or 3 p.m. from your hotel; the trail head is just 30 minutes from downtown. Also included: a light snack, water, and the use of a of a backpack. Hiking boots or good hiking/running shoes required – NO sandals please – and a light jacket depending on weather.
