With everything going on in the world these days, we’re all looking for safe and fun things to do this winter. Somewhere we can take our family or small group of friends. Somewhere in the fresh air. Somewhere where we can “get away from it all” for a few hours. How about a winter wildlife adventure?
For all of the above, look no further than our big blue back yard—also known as the Salish Sea!
We offer marine adventures throughout the year. From now through to the end of April is our popular winter wildlife viewing season with plenty of unforgettable viewing opportunities in and around the waters off southern Vancouver Island. You’ll be surprised at how much there is to see out there!
Although whales can’t be guaranteed at this time of year, our extended range means a better chance of finding whales while you enjoy your time aboard one of our heated, semi-covered catamarans. Along the way, we have plenty of other things to show you! More on that below.
COVID-19 safety measures
Is whale watching a safe thing to do right now? This is a good question that you should be asking—and we’re happy to answer!
Be assured that safety is always our number-one priority. Our health and safety measures are guided by the advice of health authorities, WorkSafe BC and Transport Canada. As of March 11, 2022, many of BC’s COVID-19 restrictions have been eased—and therefore so have ours. Yay!
