Oct. 16-25, 2015: The cooler and sometimes wetter fall weather means nothing to the whales who carry on as usual finding food, socializing with each other, and in the case of humpback whales, getting ready to head south for the winter. Over the past two weekends on 4 Ever Wild we’ve visited with resident killer whales, transient killer whales, and humpbacks, including one we’ve christened “Gnarly.” Check out our photo and you’ll see why. Heck we’ll throw in a bald eagle too, and how about a Steller sea lion making fast work of a large salmon? Fall and winter is a great time to watch the food chain in action in the Salish Sea!
