We started by heading way south of Victoria we heard about some humpback whales 7 miles south of Constance Bank. Got on scene to find 2 humpbacks believed to be Split Fluke BCX1068 and Big Mamma BCY0324. The whales were traveling south together 4 -5 min deep dives and then coming up a half a dozen times full tail, double tail flukes, it was fantastic viewing. After spending a bit of time with them we traveled west stopped in at Race Rocks were we saw lots of stellar and California sea lions harbour seals. Then continuing west we went to Secretary Island where we were looking for killer whales, we looked for the sea otter as well, but could not find. But we did see a mature bald eagle 2 of them up in the trees. Coming back we stopped at Whirl Bay quickly for the juvenile eagle in the nest and the back to Victoria. Round trip 60 miles.
