Born in Barcelona, Spain, Laura has always been fascinated with the mysteries of the sea. She graduated in physiotherapy and specialized in sports physiotherapy, but after a trip to Australia decided to pursue a career as a marine biologist, her true passion. In 2014, she moved to the south of Spain, where she spent seven years working as a naturalist guide and operations manager at a whale watching company in Tarifa (Cádiz). She’s been involved in different projects, including tagging of pink river dolphins and photo identification of giant otters in Colombia. What she loves most in her job is sharing her passion and knowledge while providing outstanding customer service. Working in Canada is a dream come true for her and she still loses her breath whenever she sees a whale!
