Jo-Anne’s passion for the ocean and all of its inhabitants started when she lived in the Cayman Islands in the late 90s, early 2000. She became a scuba instructor and spent as much time as she could in the water. She moved to Victoria in 2003 and has since been in the whale watching industry as both a captain and a naturalist. Jo-Anne is a strong proponent of ocean conservation through education. She believes that there’s no better platform than Eagle Wing whale watching vessels to inspire people to help protect our oceans. Jo-Anne did a trans-Atlantic crossing in 2016 and now spends the off season sailing the Caribbean, scuba diving and doing beach clean-ups where possible.
