Born and raised in Victoria, Emma has always been drawn to the ocean. While growing up, she went whale watching every summer with her family, and realized very quickly that out on the water was her happy place, even though she’s the only one in her family who gets seasick! Emma’s dream is to be a bio-archaeologist, which is why she’s currently working on a degree in anthropology with a minor in biology at the University of Victoria. In her spare time, she loves to read, do archery, and go for hikes out in East Sooke “with anyone who will put up with me.”
