Victoria, BC Canada features an environment extremely favourable to killer whales (orca) and killer whale watching tours! These intelligent creatures appear nearly as curious of us during Eagle Wing adventures as we do of them! The orca features a brain larger than any seaborne creature, a fact that becomes increasingly obvious with each minute you stand watching the grace with which they move. Rolling over on her side a female raises a massive pectoral fin to the air seeming to wave but probably in fact looking with her upturned eye with curiosity at man's contraptions. All whale watch adventures are not created equal; impact on these endangered animals must be minimized or altogether avoided. But to do this while providing a thrill for you is a challenge that only highly skilled and very experienced operators meet.

All of the following photos are taken with a telephoto lens and some are also cropped in order for you to get up close and personal so you may appreciate the detailed beauty of these magnificent creatures.
