Orca Dorsal Fins

An orca's dorsal fin cuts the water raising itself in front of you to what seems to be an impossible 6 feet tall.... down again... where will it appear next? Your captain and crew point to a patch of seawater expectantly and sure enough, with a spume of spray and deep whooshing sound the air-breathing mammal with ebony black skin and obvious intelligence rises again before you. Suddenly where there was one now there are two - seperated only by inches. The primal bonds of family are reconnected before your eyes as these animals show their obvious affection for each other without regard for privacy from your awestruck eyes. All whale watching tours are not created equal my friends, decades of experience with these animals mean that their nature is second nature to us.

All of the photos that you see on our website were taken by Eagle Wing Tour Staff or professional photographers. All of the following photos are taken with a telephoto lens and some are also cropped in order for you to get up close and personal so you may appreciate the detailed beauty of these magnificent creatures. Eagle Wing Tours is dedicated to ethical & responsible whale watching and wildlife viewing. We, along with the PWWA, do our best to adhere to strict whale & wildlife watching regulations.
