Marine Birds
The coastal sea around Victoria BC includes conditions that attract marine birds in numbers exceeded only in polar regions. During your whale watching tour your captain and crew will weave the stories of these beautiful birds into the full story of this coastline and all of the animals you will see. Cormorants, tufted puffins (or, "Juan de Fucan Tucan"!), phalaropes, marine ducks, loons, murres, eagles, falcons, vultures, pigeon guillemots, gulls and more. It's an ornithologists dream come true!
