Marine Mammal Guide
The marine mammals in our local area delight visitors. Minke whales, Gray whales, Humpback whales, Dall’s porpoise, & Dolphin. But it is the vibrant, and ethereal Orca (Killer Whale) that has captivated our imaginations for centuries. From Spanish sailors in search of new lands to the First Nations Peoples of North America…we all are ‘touched’ by their presence, magnificence & intelligence.
Whale watching is a must on the south end of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Our creative & passionate Marine Naturalists/Biologists are eager to share with you an intimate and unlimited resource right here in our very own backyard.
